MetroLab Student Cup Pitch Competition – COVID

Students at universities across MetroLab’s network submitted civic research projects for the chance to win $1000 and be recognized with the ‘Innovation of the Month’ award.
We selected 12 finalist teams who will now compete head-to-head in a live pitch competition. This session will see the following projects presented, all focused on COVID:
– Catherine Connolly (Boston University): Classroom Air Quality and Ventilation Evaluation for Andover High School
– Meghann Lucy (Boston University): “Let’s Get Engaged!” Working towards Equity and Inclusion in Civic Engagement
– Carolyn Daly (Rice University): COVID-19 & the Election: Understanding Voter Preferences and Intentions
