The Civic Innovation Challenge is Underway

The National Science Foundation, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Department of Homeland Security, has launched the Civic Innovation Challenge, an $11 million research and action competition focused on mobility and resilience priorities. MetroLab contributed to the design of “CIVIC” and is supporting the effort through a cooperative agreement with NSF. 52 Stage 1 projects have been awarded and are engaged in a “community-of-practice” led by MetroLab.

We Highlight Transformative Projects
